While Egypt is threatening to penalise anyone copying artifacts of their cultural heritage, Dubai is planning a huge theme park that includes, a Great Wall of China, an Eiffel Tower, and the three Pyramids of Giza. Silk kites and beer will be the tools of choice for Cal Poly Pomona students as they try to build a pyramid.
Architecture students in the cement and masonry structure class will construct a 106-ton pyramid without modern tools.

The Shimizu Mega-City Pyramid planned for Tokyo Bay.
Houses 750,000 people, 12 times as large as Khufu’s pyramid, has a footprint of 275 city blocks and would contain 24 80-story skyscrapers suspended within it.
